Hey, I'm Melo. I’m a rapper, singer, musician, an actor, a content creator, a director (both commercial + creative?), a screenwriter, a half decent line cook, a Mac Certified Technician (they call it “Genius”… not my words), an event curator, promoter, stylist (for myself really), a linguist, a brother, a son, and a friend from the Greater Toronto Area.

Sounds like a lot right? That’s because honestly, it is. I’ve lived a lot of lives and I look at it as my superpower. I consider myself a one-stop creative shop. Demystifying the art world is one of my favourite things to do and it allows me to gain a wealth of knowledge becoming more and more resourceful. Through these skills, I lend myself to projects as talent or a creative but can just as easily step into smaller roles as needed.

This site used to be for all of my music and acting related deets — don’t get me wrong you can still find that stuff here — but I felt the best use for my website would be to showcase all the cool behind the scenes stuff I do as a creative. The music and acting stuff speaks for itself whereas the creative writing, ideation, and implementation that happens under the hood deserves a place to shine so…. viola!
